Brethren,
Congratulations again to Wor. Camper on receiving the Hiram Award – I think we all made an impression on him! To all those who attended, thank you for spending you evening with us!
Since we have new folks sharing in the responsibility of investigating candidates, I thought I should clear up a few things. Most importantly, the appointment to investigate a candidate is known only to the individual committee member and the Master – no one else. If you have questions about the process, contact me directly. Also, the process for determining an applicant’s not regimented, other than completing the form. Just remember you are selecting a Brother – that is all you need do! Lastly, this reminder is not aimed at any one person, just a Brotherly refresher to all whom I have called…
The updated degree count is shown below – accurate as of 31 August.

Lastly, congratulations to our newest Master Mason Bro. Irigoyen and our newest Entered Apprentice Bro. Tressler!!!

S&F,
Dr. Chris D. Smith

Dear Brethren,
This past month has given us a reprieve with no call from the Celestial Lodge above.
Regarding degrees, we are moving along nicely with candidates and new brothers. Please join us to celebrate the progress of these brethren that will become the fabrics and support of the lodge in the future.
On another note, September is the month of the Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge. There, the WM, both Wardens and a representative of the PMs take part in the discussion and decision making that shape the future direction of the GL and the blue lodges by an extend. While only the 4 above mentioned can vote, any Master Mason in good-standing can attend and participate in the discussions. Each year I have attended, I usually came in with an opinion formed on decisions and recommendations and ended up changing my mind after listening to the arguments on both side.

Brethren :
What a wonderful Hiram event we had in August! In addition to our usual dinner attendees, we had to set up an additional four tables, to facilitate all of the brethren and friends who came to recognize Worshipful Camper’s Hiram Award accomplishment. The evening events continued in the Lodge room where, Worshipful Camper received his awards and his Hiram medallion, followed by cake.
Thank you, to all who attended from far and near to making this event even better.
There are no dinners planned for the month of September, but we have quite a bit of degree work, so please come and support our new members and your officers.
And as always, please place your stated meeting dinner reservations thru Worshipful John Follett (johnfollett@sbcglobal.net or 650-637-0337) by the Thursday prior.
