On April 27,1958 the "United Grand Lodges of  Germany" (UGLoG) were founded.  The former "Vereinigte Großloge der Freimaurer von Deutschland" ceased to exist as such in order to become part of the UGLoG under its new designation as "Grand Lodge A.F.& A.M. of Germany".  The United Grand Lodges of Germany were soon recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England and other foreign Grand Lodges as the only legitimate representative of German Freemasonry.  Today the UGLoG are in amity with some 170 Grand Lodges world-wide.
There are at present some 470 Masonic lodges in Germany with about 14,000 resident members spread over five largely
independent Grand Lodges which, together,  constitute The United Grand Lodges of Germany-Brotherhood of Freemasons (UGLoG).
The UGLoG's constituent Grand Lodges are the
1.  Grand Lodge A.F.& A.M. of Germany (GL AFuAMvD)

2.  Grand Land Lodge of Freemasons of Germany (GLL FvD)

3.  Grand National-Motherlodge  "The Three Globes"  (GNML 3WK)

4.  American Canadian Grand Lodge A.F.& A.M.  (ACGL)

5.  Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany  (GLBFG).

BAVARIA LODGE No.: 935 is part of the ACGL.
