On August 14, 2007, Peninsula Lodge honored our youth organizations - DeMolay, Jobs Daughters and Rainbow – with an American Style Picnic (hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ chicken  and the usual assorted picnic items).

 On this occasion, the first Otis M. Carrington Memorial Masonic Scholarships were awarded. The awardees were: Jenna Thal (Sequoia High School), Nicole Gordon (Carlmont High School), and Sarah Nilsen (International Order of Rainbow for Girls, Assembly #16).

 Brother Chris Smith, Chairman of the Scholarship Committee, presented the awards to the High School Students.

 The Worship Master presented the award to the Rainbow Girl. It was a real pleasure to have our youth groups represented and to be able to have a fun time with them. Everyone had a great meal and went away satisfied both physically and spiritually.
