Golden Veterans Award

On June 12, 2007, Brethren, family and friends gathered in Chantler Hall for a delicious Italian Dinner prepared by Chef Sergio Meza.  The Hall was beautifully decorated in an Italian theme, of Red, Green, and White.  The posters of Italy were loaned by Rainbow Assembly #16.  Happy birthday was sung to Worshipful Reno Chackel, who will be 89 on June 14, 2007.

Wor. Robert Nadler

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Golden Veterans Award for fifty years in Masonry to two of Peninsula Lodge's brothers, Worshipful Marvin Robert (Bob) Nadler and Brother Albert Howard Cheeseman.   Worshipful Douglas Clifford, Inspector of the 165th Masonic District presented the brethren with their Awards, which included a lapel pin and framed letter  from the Grand Master, and Worshipful Master James Camper gave a brief biography of both brothers.  Our two brothers were saluted by gathered brethren in the customary manner. Worshipful Nadler and Brother  Cheeseman were accompanied by their wives and members of their family.  Both brothers have been married to their wives for 60 years and a round of applause was given when this information was announced.   What a wonderful evening.
